Meet GREG SPRENGER

My fitness journey began in high school. I initially got into the gym to become stronger and faster to improve my performance in volleyball. I was playing volleyball at the time and that’s what I wanted to pursue. I did not end up playing competitively beyond my 1 year at Macewan University, but after the volleyball days had finished, my next endeavour began: the gym.

Fast forward a couple of years of going to the gym consistently, I came across a man on the internet named Christian Guzman. Being attracted to his six-pack abs, inspiring personality, and the desire to be like him, I watched his fitness journey and life unfold on the internet, as he documented everything life and fitness related through YouTube videos. It was 2017, and he was hosting an online challenge called Summer Shredding. This was a 90-day transformation challenge, where he encouraged his viewers to participate in dieting and training for 90 days to create an amazing transformation. I participated in the challenge, and from that point on, I was hooked.

I spent 3 years going back and forth about becoming a fitness coach. I had been working as a restaurant manager at the time, feeling secure about my job. Although, I knew that being a restaurant manager was not fulfilling me. I was passionate about health and fitness, helping people change their lives through fitness the way it was changed for me. 2020 was the year I decided to take the leap of faith, quit my restaurant job, and go all in on myself. To this day, it still is the scariest thing I have ever done, but I knew I wanted to be an online fitness coach. Early mornings, long days, and late nights of trying to build an online business had paid off.

Today, I’ve worked with over 500 clients, I’ve competed in 3 physique competitions, and I’m continuously educating myself on how to be the best coach, teacher, and leader I can be.

Coaching Philosophy

My philosophy when it comes to fitness is simple: health is the goal. When you become healthy, you become strong. When you become healthy, you have more energy. When you become healthy, you don’t move with pain anymore. Everyone’s journey, nutrition plan, and exercise plan will look different, but everyone is working towards the same thing: improved health.

In my journey as a fitness professional, I’ve had the privilege of working with extraordinary individuals who embody resilience and determination. My ideal fitness clients are those who, with a burning desire to become stronger and healthier, embark on a transformative journey towards a pain-free and energized life. These are individuals tired of feeling crummy and fatigued, looking for a change that goes beyond the numbers on a scale. My mission is to not only sculpt bodies but to sculpt confidence, fostering a sense of empowerment that extends far beyond the gym, guiding you through a sustainable approach to health and fitness.
